POSTCARDS FROM MYKONOS

The island of Mykonos is one of those spots in Greece that figures on everyone’s bucket lists. And while there are so many other beautiful places worth visiting around the country, like KythiraLefkada or Ioannina, there’s something really special about this little gem in the Aegean sea.

Before visiting the Greek islands you typically need to ask yourself what you’re looking for as each of them appeals to different types of travellers: couples, adventure seekers, sports lovers, foodies, history geeks, families, party animals – there’s literally something for everyone. Yet Mykonos has so many faces that combines all of these together in a magical way.

As I am getting ready for my upcoming holidays to Greece, I realized how much I’ve missed the island life: the morning sea breeze, endless blue skies, crystal clear waters, white little houses, maze-like hand-painted streets and bougainvillea blooms. And that’s why I put together this photo diary, hoping that I could show you through my lens a few of the things that make Mykonos so special to me. If you’re planning to go, don’t forget to check my travel guide with all my foodie and fun tips. If you’ve already been, I’d love to hear about your experience, so do tell me all about it in the comments section below!
